Parents are children’s primary sexuality educators yet we were often not educated in sexuality topics ourselves. By attending one of my parent workshops, gain the skills and content you need to begin discussing consent, bodily autonomy, healthy relationships, and sexual health with your kids in age appropriate ways.

**Currently no parent workshops available—Reach out if you’d like to schedule one!

Parent Workshops

Are you or your school unsure how to meet the state health standards related to sexuality education? I offer K-12 sexuality education workshops for schools wanting to ensure their students are getting quality, accurate, and inclusive sexual health knowledge and skills. Hire me to today to fulfill your sexual health standards!

Has your school or community center been struggling with students not respecting each other’s boundaries? How to address puberty? Unintended pregnancies? If you’re wanting a more tailored, wholistic approach to addressing your community’s sexual health needs, I design and launch sex ed programs catered to those needs, conducting backend research of social, cultural, or country-specific contexts, identifying or designing a curriculum that would best suit your students, implementing teacher trainings, providing ongoing programmatic support, and developing monitoring and evaluation tools and analysis. Program Development & Support

Curriculum Review & Development

I write, review, update, and tailor sexual and reproductive health curricula for a variety of target groups, including but not limited to youth, adults, communities in developing countries, LGBTQ+ folks, refugees, and more. I specialize in participatory teaching methods and use a trauma-informed, equity-focused lens. I also write curricula for active listening/communication techniques and team-building.

Previous projects include writing a sexual and reproductive health manual for a Rwandan youth center and updating a chaplaincy training manual for young adults. Visit my Resources page to download samples.

Training & Education Workshops

I offer single or multi-day training workshops to educate groups on reproductive health issues and/or train teachers or other professionals in sexual and reproductive health content. Workshops can be catered to youth, young adults, or adults and can occur at schools, after-school programs, or workplaces, among others. Sample topics include menstruation, healthy communication, HIV and STI (sexually transmitted infection) prevention, consent, and women’s health. Trainings can include teacher trainings for how to teach sex ed to students or workshops for medical professionals on how to address sexuality topics with patients.

Previous projects include developing a women’s health training for refugee women in Indianapolis and delivering a teacher training to local facilitators in Rwanda. See my Projects page for additional details.
